Celebrating & Preserving Mother Nature
Van Mahotsav is a tree planting festival started in the year 1950 by the then Minister of Agriculture and Food, Shri K.M. Munshi. The week-long festival celebrates mother nature and spreads awareness of the growing need for green cover on our planet today.
Our students at DSGS actively participated in helping spread afforestation awareness on Van Mahotsav day through creative ways and also planted a few trees on the school premises to celebrate this noble cause.
