Happy Janmashtami by Our Little Krishnas
DSGS students celebrated the lively spirit and righteousness of Lord Krishna on 18 August, a day prior to the holiday of Janmashtami. The event of fun, dance and learning was attended by Ms. Suma Menon (Principal), Dr. Pavan K. Samba (Chief of Academics), Vice Principals, teachers and staff.
Students tried their hand at the Dahi Handi ritual (called ‘Utti’ in Telugu) is a sweet reminder of the endearing ways of Lord Krishna. Every child must be reminded of the importance of adventure and a light-hearted attitude when the occasion calls for it.
